All Soul's Procession 2009

Last weekend was All Soul's Procession in Tucson. If you don't know about this event click here

We had the idea to create a big float to carry the kids in. Griffin, Matilda, cousin Gracie, and cousin Eva. Here is he progression:

Here it is loaded in the back of my truck with the Max puppet. That is a representation of Brie's cousin Max who passed away a few years ago. We created that in 2006 and it comes out every year for the procession. The idea for the event is to honor the dead, but it's also an artist's celebration of life so there are really creative displays:

Trick Or Treat

Halloween night! Griffin wanted to be a spider, so we made him a costume and gave him the red hourglass that shows he's a Black Widow. Matilda had a Ladybug costume but had no intention of letting us put it on her, so she wore a bear hat. So much for all of us going as insects
